CNA Travel Contract Details - Location: Hummelstown, Pennsylvania
- Weekly Estimated Pay: $710-$760
- Employment Type: 13-week travel CNA contract
- Start Date: November 2, 2026
- Schedule: 3 shifts per week, 12-hour day shifts
- Hours: 36 hours per week
- Openings: 3 Certified Nursing Assistant positions

Certified Nursing Assistant Job Requirements - Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification
- Minimum two years of bedside clinical experience highly desired
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
- Ability to provide safe, respectful, and compassionate patient care
- Working knowledge of HIPAA requirements and patient confidentiality
- Strong communication, organization, and teamwork skills
- Ability to follow facility standards for attendance, punctuality, appearance, infection prevention, and safe patient handling
CNA Responsibilities - Perform routine patient care and bedside nursing tasks under the general supervision of a Registered Nurse.
- Document patient care accurately and communicate changes or concerns to the appropriate members of the care team.
- Promote patient and employee safety by following safe patient-handling practices, identifying hazards, and adhering to established safety procedures.
- Assist with menu management, including preparing, assembling, delivering, and retrieving patient menus according to prescribed diets.
- Support patients with menu selections while considering diet orders, allergies, food sensitivities, and cultural, ethnic, or religious preferences.
- Verify diet changes and ensure menu and nourishment labels reflect the most current orders.
- Communicate patient care and food service concerns promptly to the appropriate department.
- Print and distribute meal, diet, and nourishment reports as needed.
- Assist with clerical duties such as answering phones, faxing, filing, photocopying, and maintaining office supplies.
- Assist food service, trayline, catering, and related departmental activities as needed.
- Attend required in-services and departmental meetings and perform other duties as assigned.
